We created this vegetable garden many years ago, and it remains one of our most beautiful and functional designs. We built raised beds to make maintenance easier, with pathways between each bed to allow for easy access. With plenty of space to grow fruit, vegetables, and seasonal cutting flowers, this garden is perfect for filling vases inside your house. The vegetable patch is enclosed using espalier apple trees of different varieties, which makes it easy to pick the fruit. The garden also features a stunning archway access point that has apple trees trained to grow over it.
It can take a number of years for espalier fruit trees of any kind to reach this point, but in our opinion, they are most certainly worth the wait for their aesthetic and practical benefits.
